Standing under the canopy of this magnolia on W.4th near The Naam, Vancouver’s longest running (since the ’60s) and longest opening (24/7) vegetarian restaurant, trying to create some sense of their incredible beauty. So much more elegant than all that fluffy pink cherry blossom!

Caught this view at lunch yesterday (So.cial – a butcher-driven restaurant!). The bluey-yellow stripe under the ship is a train. The mountains dominate the city usually but with this huge cruise ship the perspectives were all changed.
