Another prejudice hits the dust! I’ve found the recent Gehry blockbusters a bit ugly from the photos – not comfortable with all that curvy metal busting out of ordinary building forms – striking yes, beautiful, no. Was even debating whether walking up the hill to see the Walt Disney Concert Hall (given my poor attitude to old Walt’s impact on the modern world). Glad I had my NeoGirl backbone with me. This building is SOOO sexy up close. The sensuality of those curves, the grace and precision. Oooh la la! Even my snap happy shots show how beautiful they are! Sorry Mr Gehry!
